We’re Kelly and Sandra—a mother-daughter Colombiana duo in Miami, and we’re thrilled to share Sandia’s Crochet Studio with you!

Our story began during a challenging chapter. After my mom, Sandra—a true guerrera—underwent life-changing LVAD surgery (a heart device that keeps her going), she had to adjust to an entirely new way of life. Crocheting became so much more than a hobby—it became her way to heal, find comfort, and create something beautiful in the midst of such a difficult time.

Together, we turned those stitches into Sandia’s Studio: a collection of 100% handmade purses designed to accompany you to life’s most special moments—whether it’s a party, gala, wedding, or just a day when you want to shine.

Each purse is crocheted by my mom with love, patience, and an incredible eye for detail (and I’m here helping wherever I can!). Every bag carries a piece of her journey and the hope that even in life’s hardest moments, something beautiful can be made.
